Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer - Apprentice to join our team at Rullion. As a Mechanical Design Engineer - Apprentice, you will assist in the development of engineering designs, ensure compliance with engineering standards and procedures, and contribute to project safety processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Liaise with customers: Develop relationships with new and existing customers to identify business opportunities and ensure effective communication.
  2. Engineering standards and procedures: Ensure adherence to engineering-based standards and procedures to maintain high-quality designs and projects.
  3. Project safety processes: Contribute to project safety processes to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with regulations.
  4. Design documentation: Produce, review, and approve calculations, analyses, drawings, models, and design basis documentation as assigned.
  5. Design integrity: Maintain the engineering configuration to ensure the overall design intent and integrity is maintained throughout the design lifecycle.
  6. Continuous improvement: Investigate areas for improvement and develop solutions to enhance design processes and project outcomes.
  7. Health and safety: Ensure health and safety standards and regulations are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Nuclear experience: Ideally, applicants should have experience in the nuclear industry.
