The Quality Assurance Specialist plays a vital role within the Quality Assurance and Enhancement (QAE) Office, assisting the Academic Registrar, Deputy Registrars, and other team members in the comprehensive oversight of academic quality and standards across the global network.

This position emphasizes the collection, organization, and management of program-related information and data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile and manage the Study Group's master data concerning approved programs.
  • Prepare and submit reports to relevant academic governance bodies regarding modifications to program information.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the QAE office to pinpoint significant changes to programs that may necessitate enhanced quality assurance measures to maintain high-quality educational experiences for students.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues related to program information/data to ensure timely access to accurate information for colleagues.
  • Implement initiatives from academic governance bodies concerning program information and data as they arise.
  • Coordinate and execute the annual program information audit, complementing the annual monitoring activities conducted by the QAE office, and participate in approval events as a key member of panels making quality assurance and compliance decisions.
  • Draft reports, prepare documents, and present findings at academic governance committees as necessary.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of data storage, collection, and management systems within the Study Group to ensure they remain effective and relevant.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the QAE Office to share best practices across the Study Group network.
  • Foster positive working relationships throughout the network of Study Group centers.
  • Assist colleagues in identifying risks related to subpar quality provision or declines in academic standards to facilitate improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure the efficient operation of approval and monitoring processes for centers.
  • When necessary, collaborate with all parties to ensure the successful execution of QAE Office projects.
  • Serve as a resource for Study Group Centers in all aspects of program data management, aiding in the implementation of quality assurance and enhancement policies and procedures.
  • Gather evidence to ensure that appropriate policies and controls are in place across the network, applied consistently, and compliant with Study Group requirements.
  • Participate in the operational aspects of the Study Group Center's quality assurance processes and local academic governance mechanisms to ensure effective delivery.
  • Provide additional support and/or cover for colleagues at Study Group Centers as needed.
  • Act as the first point of contact for operational inquiries from colleagues regarding program information and changes.
  • Maintain data and statistics as required, providing reports to the Academic Registrar to illustrate trends and performance as needed.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of specific components of the QAE Office's strategic plan.


Qualifications:

  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • A demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Experience in quality assurance or regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in data management and curation.
  • Understanding of data governance and decision-making processes.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is desirable.
