We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Khuda Technology. As a key member of our cloud services team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cutting-edge cloud solutions using Azure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Authoring Low Level Design (LLD) documentation to a high technical standard, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Aligning cloud deliveries to Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well Architected Framework (WAF), ensuring seamless integration with our cloud infrastructure.
- Designing and implementing Azure Landing Zones (Azure foundation platform) with a focus on Infrastructure-as-Code methods, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Implementing Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) best practices using Azure DevOps build and release pipelines, ensuring efficient and automated deployment processes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud migration and transformation projects, ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Providing expert guidance on Azure enhancements to our team, ensuring adherence to industry and Microsoft best practices.
- Ensuring the implementation of Microsoft and industry security best practices, protecting our cloud infrastructure and data.
- Contributing to our centralized code base, ensuring consistency and quality across our cloud solutions.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years' experience delivering Azure IaaS/PaaS solutions with an infrastructure focus, including Compute, Storage, Networks, Monitoring, Management, and Backup.
- At least 1 year in a client-facing role, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrable risk management knowledge, ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud infrastructure.
- Experience working within an Agile team environment, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent skills in at least one of the following: ARM, Terraform, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune, Defender, Microsoft Security Suite, O365, and M365.
- Understanding of Subscriptions, Resource Groups, Azure Policies, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Experience implementing Hub-Spoke network topologies, Virtual Network (vNET) peering, Network Security Groups (NSG), Public IP addresses (PIP), Site-to-Site VPN, and Azure load-balancers.
- Experience deploying and configuring Log Analytics workspaces, ensuring efficient monitoring and logging.
- Experience implementing Azure Backup and configuring backup policies, ensuring data protection and recovery.
- Experience implementing Azure Key Vault and collecting secrets during deployment using ARM templates, ensuring secure and reliable data storage.
- Experience deploying Virtual Machines using specific VM SKU types, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Experience deploying Virtual Machines using specific Azure Disk requirements, including managed disk types, data redundancy, and access tiers.
- Experience deploying Highly Available Virtual Machines using Availability Sets, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Understanding of Highly Available Virtual Machine deployments using Availability Zones, ensuring disaster recovery and business continuity.
