Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to join our team at ISS. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services for a variety of electrical and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
  • Undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works as issued through the helpdesk, meeting relevant service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Provide exceptional customer service, exceeding customer expectations.
  • Perform first-line reactive maintenance for electrical and switchgear issues.
  • Respond to out-of-hours callouts as detailed on the callout rota.
  • Carry out planned night working as per the PPM schedule.
  • Undertake contractor control duties, monitoring contractors and their workmanship to ensure relevant standards are met.
  • Issue permits to work and ensure equipment operates to specified performance criteria.
  • Ensure equipment and surrounding areas conform to agreed company standards.
  • Provide a professional service, representing the company in a way that ensures customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Air Conditioning: City and Guilds 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants or CITB J11 Equivalent.
  • NVQ 2/3 or City & Guilds in Commercial Refrigeration and AC Systems.
  • Qualified Electrician 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS:7671:2008).
  • Recognised apprenticeship in air conditioning, along with relevant qualifications and excellent understanding of electrical fundamentals and LV distribution.
