Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to oversee a small, dynamic team in the aviation sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with a focus on ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unloading and loading trucks and shipping containers, ensuring accurate and timely receipt of goods.
  • Booking goods into the facility using computer systems, tablets, and scanners, requiring strong computer literacy skills.
  • Picking and accurately labelling goods for export and domestic delivery, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Operating Electric Forklift trucks and Reach trucks, with a valid Counterbalance forklift licence and willingness to undergo X-ray operator training.
  • Ensuring the safety of the team and that all tasks are completed accurately and on time, with a strong commitment to health and safety protocols.
  • Screening of goods and threat detection by x-ray and hand search, with a focus on security and compliance.
  • Being flexible for some overtime work, paid at 1.5x the standard rate, with a willingness to support the team and contribute to a culture of health and safety.
Requirements
  • Complete 5-year work history and clean DBS, with a strong background in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Valid Counterbalance forklift licence, refreshed within the last two years, with a willingness to undergo X-ray operator training.
  • Reach truck licence is advantageous, with strong leadership skills and a commitment to team safety and efficiency.
  • Good computer literacy and proficiency in using technology for inventory management, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Strong leadership skills and a commitment to team safety and efficiency, with a willingness to support the team and contribute to a culture of health and safety.
  • Flexibility for occasional overtime and travel for induction training, with a focus on security and compliance.
  • Not colourblind due to the requirements of X-ray operation, with a strong commitment to health and safety protocols.
