About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Psychologist Researcher to join our team at The Disabilities Trust. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for assisting senior staff in the collation and analysis of clinical outcome data from our services nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the research design, literature review, participant recruitment, and assessment, data entry and analysis, and preparation of manuscripts for publication in a range of projects.
  • Collate and analyse outcome data from all BIRT services and utilise this data to produce high-quality reports.
  • Assist the Clinical Director in conducting clinical audit of Brainkind services.
  • Develop resource materials (including multimedia) for use in the rehabilitation of adults with acquired brain injury.
  • Edit resource materials and present them in accessible form.
  • Collect feedback from individual Brainkind services about resource materials and make alterations to these resources if necessary.
  • Support and facilitate research and innovation within Brainkind and the sharing of new approaches to rehabilitation.
Requirements
  • Upper second class or first class honours degree in psychology.
  • Ideal Masters in Research Methods or other clinically relevant topic, though this is not essential.
  • Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
  • Experience of working as part of a team.
  • Ability to carry out research under direction and supervision.
  • A Full driving licence and the ability to meet the travel requirements of the post.
