Role Overview
The Facilities Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment. This position is ideal for a skilled technician looking to contribute to a world-class organization committed to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns to minimize production interruptions.
- Conduct fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on various CNC machinery, including lathes, grinders, and automated systems.
- Perform PLC and control system diagnostics using advanced technology.
- Carry out routine servicing and inspections in accordance with planned maintenance schedules.
- Engage in investment projects, including new machine installations and upgrades, as well as continuous improvement initiatives.
Working Hours
The Facilities Maintenance Technician will work an average of 37.5 hours per week, following a rotating shift pattern:
- Week 1: Wednesday to Friday - 6 AM to 6 PM
- Week 2: Monday to Wednesday - 6 PM to 6 AM
- Week 3: Monday & Tuesday - 6 AM to 6 PM and Thursday & Friday - 6 PM to 6 AM
Compensation and Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a competitive remuneration package, including:
- Base salary of £35,000.00 plus a 27% shift allowance.
- Annual bonus of £2,100.00.
- Holiday entitlement of 33 days, increasing to 38 days with continued service.
- 6% employer pension contribution.
- Comprehensive medical and wellness benefits, including private family healthcare, access to an onsite subsidized canteen, gym facilities, and mental health support services.
