Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Accountant to join our client, a rapidly growing business services company. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Head of Management Accounts in the preparation of monthly accounts and reporting.
Main Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of 3 management accountants in delivering accurate management accounts to deadline.
- Review and Feedback: Review submissions and provide feedback to the team on any amendments.
- Communication: Provide timely updates on any deliverable changes to stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve processes for efficiency.
- Reporting and Analysis: Support the provision of accurate Divisional and Group reporting and analysis.
- Financial Commentary: Sign off monthly balance sheet commentary and analysis on trends.
- Reconciliations: Sign off the monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including the agreement of any adjustments required.
- Audit Support: Responsible for financial year end audit packs and liaising with auditors to ensure deliverables are met.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management accounting, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
