Senior Structural Engineer

Conrad Consulting Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Principal Structural Engineer to join our team in Belfast. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural engineering services to our clients across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of challenging and complex projects, from private to public sector clients. Our consultancy is committed to employee development and offers regular in-house training, frequent salary reviews, and internal promotions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing structural calculations, specifications, reports, and correspondence.
- Contributing to business development through networking events and client engagement.
- Producing construction drawings using CAD software.
- Briefing and supervising junior technicians.
- Liaising with external professionals and clients.
- Attending site inspections.
Requirements:
- Ability to design structures in various building materials, including steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and timber.
- Proficiency in software such as TEDDS, Fastrak Building Designer, and CSC Structural Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage own workload and prioritize tasks.
