We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Health Advisor to provide expert guidance and support to our workforce. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being of our employees, enabling them to perform their duties effectively and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate an individual's health and fitness for their role within our organization.
  • Offer expert advice to individuals, managers, and the organization on a range of occupational health matters.
  • Develop and implement effective health management strategies to promote employee well-being and retention.
  • Coordinate health surveillance programs in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with specialists such as physicians, physiotherapists, and counselors to provide comprehensive rehabilitation plans and support return-to-work initiatives.
  • Provide clinical input during the recruitment and selection process for police officers and staff.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Registered General Nurse with current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council.
  • Occupational Health Degree.
  • Occupational Health Specialist Practitioner Status – Part 3 NMC.
  • Training in health surveillance techniques, including audiometry, spirometry, and vision screening.

Essential Experience:

  • Proven clinical experience in a relevant field.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records.
  • Previous experience in occupational health.
