About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Health Advisor to provide expert guidance and support to our workforce. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being of our employees, enabling them to perform their duties effectively and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate an individual's health and fitness for their role within our organization.
- Offer expert advice to individuals, managers, and the organization on a range of occupational health matters.
- Develop and implement effective health management strategies to promote employee well-being and retention.
- Coordinate health surveillance programs in accordance with legal requirements.
- Collaborate with specialists such as physicians, physiotherapists, and counselors to provide comprehensive rehabilitation plans and support return-to-work initiatives.
- Provide clinical input during the recruitment and selection process for police officers and staff.
Essential Qualifications:
- Registered General Nurse with current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council.
- Occupational Health Degree.
- Occupational Health Specialist Practitioner Status – Part 3 NMC.
- Training in health surveillance techniques, including audiometry, spirometry, and vision screening.
Essential Experience:
- Proven clinical experience in a relevant field.
- Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records.
- Previous experience in occupational health.
