About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter / Multi Trade to join our team at Niyaa People. As a key member of our social housing maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs and planned work in kitchens and bathrooms within our properties in the Reading area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance work to a high standard
  • Conduct planned work in kitchens and bathrooms, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
Requirements
  • Proven experience in social housing maintenance, preferably with a focus on carpentry and multi-trade skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate of £22
  • The opportunity to secure a permanent role with a salary of £36,000 per annum
  • A company van and fuel card for business use
  • A standard working day from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
