We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our team at GPS Recruitment. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining the availability and security of our computer systems, networks, and applications.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain systems, including servers, networks, applications, and infrastructure.
- Provide 1st to 3rd line technical support to end users, resolving tickets and ensuring minimal downtime.
- Develop and maintain documentation for all hardware and software systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices for all systems, including disaster recovery processes and documentation.
- Serve as an escalation point for IT support technicians and internal stakeholders, providing expert technical guidance and support.
- Implement and maintain security best practices for deploying, upgrading, and maintaining IT systems and services.
- Manage and maintain an O365 environment, including hybrid cloud solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and manage technical projects.
- Working knowledge of networks, protocols, and virtualization technologies, including VMware.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, PowerShell, and other scripting technologies.
- Technical competence in installing and configuring new hardware, software, and systems.
- Proven history of process implementation and management, including ITIL and Prince 2 methodologies.
- Experience supporting end users, providing technical assistance, and resolving technical issues for Windows servers and workstations.
- Linux experience and previous experience in a server/network/systems support role.
