We are in search of a talented Pastry Chef to join our esteemed team. Your primary duty will be to ensure that the culinary offerings we present to our members and guests meet the highest standards of quality. This involves preparing ingredients prior to service, organizing and stocking kitchen stations, and plating dishes according to our established guidelines.

What We Seek in a Pastry Chef...

  • 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-profile kitchen in a similar senior position
  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
  • Punctual, dependable, and trustworthy
  • A strong sense of urgency
  • A positive and proactive attitude
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic environment
  • A genuine passion for culinary arts
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings and late evenings

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to grasp, turn, and hold objects with hands
  • Capable of standing for extended periods (at least 8 hours)
  • Occasional kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing as necessary

Expected Working Hours:

  • Shifts will vary throughout the week, including evenings and weekends
  • Average weekly hours will range from 32 to 45

Travel Considerations: The location is approximately 30 minutes from Bath and 50 minutes from Bristol.
