Exciting Opportunity for a Shop Assistant Manager

We are working with a dynamic and expanding national Storage business who are seeking an Assistant Store Manager for their busy Storage facility in Crewe. The organisation provides accessible storage for both businesses and for the general public, offering a safe and secure way to store items at a low cost.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a great experience for customers both on the phone and face-to-face.
  2. Report to the Store Manager, working as part of a team of three.
  3. Follow up on overnight website enquiries, converting prospects into storage customers.
  4. Conduct daily checks to ensure the storage facility is secure.
  5. Sell items in the retail shop, promoting the organisation's products.
  6. Chase customer payments, ensuring timely payment.
  7. Encourage customer reviews, showcasing excellent service.
  8. Maintain a clean and tidy storage facility, ensuring a positive experience for customers.
Requirements:
  1. A confident personality with excellent customer service skills.
  2. Experience in a sales role, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  3. Reliability and a willingness to learn, with a responsible and self-motivated attitude.
  4. Ability to work effectively in a small team.
  5. Physical fitness, with the ability to be on your feet and walk around the facility.
  6. IT literacy, with basic administration skills.
  7. A valid driving licence, essential for the role.
