  • Culinary Team Management: Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Supply Chain Management: Source and manage food supplies within budget guidelines, ensuring quality and freshness.
  • Catering for Special Events: Plan and execute catering for special events and celebrations in our care homes.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to support the growth and development of our culinary team.

Requirements:

  • Proven Culinary Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a care home or healthcare setting.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene Certification: Hold a recognized food safety and hygiene certification, such as HACCP or Food Safety Level 3.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and external partners.
