About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Birmingham, Bolton, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Stoke, or Leeds offices. As a key member of our Civil Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing infrastructure projects, including highways and drainage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop infrastructure projects, including highways and drainage systems, to meet national and local standards.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Lead the design development process, ensuring high-quality work and meeting project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in engineering design, preferably in highway and drainage infrastructure.
  • Proficient in digital tools such as AutoCAD, Civils 3D, PDS, MicroDrainage, and Causeway Flow.
  • Experience in producing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy reports.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop innovative solutions.
