**Job Title:** Metals Operation Executive

**Job Summary:** We are working with a prominent international copper mining company to find a highly skilled Metals Operation Executive to join their London team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage the back office hedging and arbitrage logistics and operations, including scheduling, letters of credit, bank contracts, bills of exchange, and bills of lading.
  • Monitor and execute contracts, handle client complaints, and resolve issues.
  • Ensure timely preparation of shipping and invoicing documentation, including payment collection and cargo release activities for metals such as copper, molybdenum, and rhenium.
  • Assist in testing a new commercial platform with clients and counterparties.
  • Report directly to the CEO and Operations Manager.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience in a commodity trading and/or shipping environment.
  • Strong background in hedging operations, preferably in copper or metals.
  • Experience in financial matters, including cash flow, accounts receivables/payables, bookings, account reconciliation, monthly closing tasks, and file liquidation.
  • Fluency in English and ideally a knowledge of Spanish.
  • Located in London, with flexibility to travel as the role is hybrid.
