Production Team Leader

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Team Leader to oversee our production operations at Reed. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing productivity, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and leading a team to achieve manufacturing excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of manufacturing personnel in a high-volume production environment.
- Communication: Conduct regular team meetings to communicate targets and ensure team members are aware of their roles and responsibilities.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments to meet production targets and maintain seamless operations.
- Quality Control: Monitor production standards and quality control measures to ensure compliance with company requirements.
- Training and Development: Support the training of new team members and ensure all team members are competent in their roles.
- Problem-Solving: Handle conflict resolution and perform problem-solving as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement and support continuous improvement strategies to enhance production efficiency and safety.
- Record Keeping: Ensure all manufacturing records are completed appropriately and accurately.
- Quality Escalation: Follow the escalation procedure for quality concerns.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards.
- Employee Management: Manage operators' attendance, employee-related issues, 1:1s, and performance reviews.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and initiate projects aimed at lowering costs and improving quality.
Requirements:
- Manufacturing Background: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality systems.
- Leadership and Team Management: Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office and relevant manufacturing management software.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly.
- Manufacturing Experience: Previous experience as a People Leader in a manufacturing environment.
