About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client's team, a leading provider of warehousing and transportation solutions. This role involves delivering goods to various locations across the region, ensuring timely and efficient service.

Your Responsibilities

  • Operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle safely and responsibly to deliver goods to designated destinations.
  • Manage multiple deliveries per day, adhering to strict schedules and ensuring accurate drop-offs.
  • Load and unload goods carefully, handling items with attention to detail and preventing damage.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and delivery documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Conduct routine vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and addressing their needs effectively.
  • Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a high standard of professionalism.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license, along with proven experience in multidrop delivery operations. A CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification and a Digital Tachograph card are essential requirements.

Strong navigational skills, excellent time management abilities, and the ability to lift and carry heavy items are also crucial for success in this role. A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding customer service are highly valued.
