Warehouse Supervisor Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join our client's dynamic team in Spalding. As a key player in maintaining smooth operations, you will oversee daily warehouse activities, lead a diverse team, and ensure adherence to health and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage warehouse staff during 12-hour shifts, maintaining operational flow and productivity
  • Supervise and motivate a cross-generational workforce, fostering effective communication and collaboration
  • Confidently oversee the use of Powered Pallet Trucks (PPT) in daily warehouse tasks
  • Ensure accurate and timely stock management, meeting customer delivery expectations
  • Enforce health and safety regulations, conducting regular checks, and addressing any risks or hazards promptly
  • Track and report on KPIs to ensure targets are met
  • Quickly and effectively solve operational issues to minimize disruptions
  • Provide coaching and training to team members, encouraging a positive work culture
  • Act as a key point of contact between warehouse operatives and senior management, ensuring clear and consistent communication
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar leadership role
  • Valid PPT Licence and strong experience in operating pallet trucks
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control, and health & safety regulations
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems efficiently
  • Competency with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous
