Job Title: Forklift Engineer - Field Based

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Forklift Engineer to join our team at The Retention Group. As a Field Based Forklift Engineer, you will be responsible for repairing, servicing, and maintaining a wide selection of forklift trucks in a local patch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain forklift trucks to a high standard
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to clients
  • Work independently in a field-based environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

  • Experience working on engines, even if it's in your spare time as a hobby or on smaller engines such as generators, lawnmowers, go-karts, etc.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8am - 4.30pm
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
