Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a technical safety strategy to ensure safe and reliable operations.
- Provide technical safety expertise to improve process safety, plant integrity, and statutory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate hazards and risks.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and manage technical safety studies.
- Educate and train colleagues on process safety concepts.
Requirements
We are looking for a graduate with a degree in an engineering or technical subject, preferably with a chemical background. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and influencing skills, be a good team player, and have a good degree of emotional intelligence.
Experience in the power or related industry, knowledge of High Hazard/COMAH sites, and technical safety expertise are essential. The ability to work effectively with technical consultants and manage small budgets is also required.
