Job Title: Highway Principal Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highway Principal Engineer to join our team at SYSTRA. As a key member of our infrastructure design team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality highway projects from feasibility through to detailed design.

About the Role

As a Highway Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers and technicians to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and effectively. You will work closely with private and public sector clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians to deliver projects from feasibility through to detailed design.
  • Develop and implement highway design strategies to meet client needs and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project objectives and deliver solutions that meet their expectations.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure ongoing business growth and development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality projects.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in highway design and project management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills to lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
