About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Receptionist to join our team at the Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience from check-in to check-out.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration and Check-out: Accurately register guests into the hotel and process check-outs in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Guest Enquiries and Communication: Respond to guest enquiries and communicate effectively with colleagues and superiors to resolve any issues.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that guests have a positive and memorable experience.
  • Hotel Operations: Be fully cognizant with the hotel computer system and apply knowledge in the most appropriate manner to meet guest requirements.
  • Revenue Generation: Have full knowledge of hotel room rates and policies and actively work to earn revenue for the hotel.
  • Key Management: Process non-arrival reservations, researching the booking to ensure accuracy, and manage the hotel door key system.
Requirements
  • Positive Personality: Possess a positive, bubbly personality with a flair for showmanship.
  • Experience: Have experience working in a large-scale hotel environment, preferably with Opera Cloud/Opera.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Organizational Skills: Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
