Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking highly motivated and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our District Nursing Service. This fixed-term/secondment opportunity offers the chance to specialize in psychosocial substance misuse caseload management, working closely with patients to support their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based care and support to individuals experiencing substance misuse challenges.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and risk factors.
  • Advocate for patients' rights and well-being within the healthcare system.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.

Essential Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Experience in providing care to individuals with substance misuse challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Requirements

  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to substance misuse.
  • Experience in case management or community nursing.
  • Fluency in Welsh is desirable but not essential.
