Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking highly motivated and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our District Nursing Service. This fixed-term/secondment opportunity offers the chance to specialize in psychosocial substance misuse caseload management, working closely with patients to support their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based care and support to individuals experiencing substance misuse challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and risk factors.
- Advocate for patients' rights and well-being within the healthcare system.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.

Essential Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Experience in providing care to individuals with substance misuse challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Requirements
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to substance misuse.
- Experience in case management or community nursing.
- Fluency in Welsh is desirable but not essential.
