Marine Broker Support Technician

An esteemed international Lloyds broker seeks an experienced Marine Broker Support Technician to join their team.

This role involves providing technical support to the Marine broking team, facilitating the successful placement and servicing of international marine business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients and brokers to create MRC slips and endorsements.
  • Ensure compliance with local taxes and territorial requirements.
  • Liaise with the operations team for accurate processing.
  • Coordinate with the IBA team to manage premium issues.
  • Review and verify market and client documentation.
  • Oversee broking to overseas markets.
  • Support clients throughout the placement process.
  • Maintain and develop client relationships.
  • Manage the renewal process.

Requirements:

  • Technical support experience in the Lloyds/London market.
  • Familiarity with Marine Liabilities, Ports, and Terminals is desirable.
  • Proficiency in using Brokasure, PPL, whitespace, Crystal, Atlas, or Impact is preferred.
