About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at an independent school in Rotherham. As a SEND Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as those with complex needs such as attachment disorders, trauma, anxiety, and high-functioning autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) and ADHD.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized support to students, helping them to regulate their behavior and engage in education. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans, ensuring that each student receives the support they need to succeed.

We are looking for someone who is confident, outgoing, and able to build positive relationships with students. Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs, ASC, or ADHD is desirable, but not essential. If you have a passion for improving outcomes for young people and are committed to providing high-quality support, we want to hear from you.
