Job Title: Field Service Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in the DN area. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a forklift technician, plant fitter, or mechanical engineer, with a strong background in plant equipment, powered access equipment, or industrial machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Find, diagnose, and rectify faults on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.
  • Undertake preventative maintenance on our equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Develop a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in a relevant field.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong mechanical engineering skills, with experience in electrical engineering, hydraulics, and other related areas.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing needs of the role.
