Key Responsibilities- Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work with small groups or individual students to provide targeted interventions and support, helping them to reach their full potential.
- Assist in the preparation of classroom resources and materials, maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment.
- Support children with additional needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN), and promote a positive and respectful classroom culture.
- Supervise students during break times and other school activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in Key Stage 2 (KS2), is preferred.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards helping children learn and grow, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) is desirable but not essential.
- Experience or understanding of working with SEN students is beneficial.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children.
- A supportive and welcoming school environment, with opportunities for professional development and career growth.
