Key Responsibilities:
As a Lift Maintenance Technician, your duties will include:
1. Providing technical support to Service and Repair engineers.
2. Diagnosing and rectifying faults across a diverse range of lifts, ensuring repairs meet high standards.
3. Offering technical assistance to the repairs department and contributing to training initiatives when appropriate.
4. Identifying opportunities for improvement and addressing customer-specific concerns.
5. Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, alongside adherence to ISO and BS Standards.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
1. Extensive experience in the maintenance and repair of Elevators and/or Escalators.
2. A solid understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
3. Proven knowledge of Elevator Codes and Standards relevant to the industry.
4. A National Vocational Qualification in Elevator/Escalator NVQ3 or an equivalent qualification.
5. Demonstrated experience in the continuous improvement of processes and quality control to meet operational needs.
6. A willingness to pursue a National Vocational Qualification in Elevator/Escalator NVQ4.
