Join our dedicated team as a Security Gate Officer. We are currently seeking a permanent addition to our workforce.

  • This role involves a 4 on 4 off rotating shift schedule, with 12-hour day and night shifts
  • The compensation for this position is £12.70 per hour
Key Responsibilities:

As a Security Gate Officer, your duties will include:

  • Monitoring and managing the gatehouse to ensure that only authorized individuals gain access to the premises
  • Serving as the initial point of contact for visitors
  • Overseeing the weighbridge operations, accurately documenting vehicle weights and other relevant data
  • Conducting regular patrols to maintain site security and addressing any security concerns
  • Professionally handling incoming phone calls, providing assistance, and redirecting inquiries as necessary
  • Performing staff searches when required
  • Escorting personnel off the premises upon request from their supervisor
  • Promptly reporting any incidents, breaches, or irregularities to the appropriate authorities
  • Ensuring compliance with site and health and safety regulations
