Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Design Manager to join our team at CV-Library. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting the growth and project agendas of our Brakes and Fresh Direct businesses through the provision of engineering design, systems expertise, and design authority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement new technology platforms to support sites' ability to deliver continuous improvement and develop the supply chain.
  • Ensure the delivery of the build plan, working alongside Regional Engineering Managers to achieve key metrics including delivery to time, cost, and quality.
  • Design and deliver facilities management assets that meet business requirements from a colleague, legal, and reliability perspective.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to prepare, approve, and execute capital projects following PM processes.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in an FMCG or industrial environment, with a strong background in engineering design and project delivery.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and a good understanding of Health and Safety, Fire Strategy, and Building Regulations in construction.
  • A relevant qualification (to HND or Degree level or equivalent) and a strong motivation for continuous improvement and value engineering.
