We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teacher in managing behaviour and working 1:1/in small groups with children who require additional support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teacher in managing behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Work 1:1/in small groups with children who require additional support, helping them to achieve their full potential
  • Follow the plans of teachers and teach whole classes, promoting a love of learning and academic excellence
  • Build positive working relationships with pupils, staff, and parents, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status or a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification
  • Be flexible in your practice and able to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Be positive, reflective, and resilient, with a passion for teaching and learning
  • Have strong behaviour management skills and be able to build positive working relationships with pupils
