Construction Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our team at Professional Construction Recruitment.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the construction process on a section or project, ensuring that all works are coordinated to deliver on safety, quality, and environmental objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, organize, control, and coordinate the site or section of the site to a satisfactory and safe completion.
- Ensure that works are coordinated to ensure suitable safe access and segregation is maintained.
- Develop day-to-day plans for site operations from project programs.
- Effectively manage site reporting, including record sheets, site instructions, and daily diaries.
- Manage resources, including setting up teams to complete sections of work, ensuring individuals are aware of their responsibilities, and developing individuals through coaching and training.
- Manage information, ensuring that works are carried out in accordance with good practice and relevant specifications, drawings, method statements, and technical information.
- Manage production, ensuring materials, plant, and subcontractors are procured to meet targets, controlling costs, and ensuring works are instructed under written site instructions.
- Ensure quality is achieved on the project, including establishing and employing robust on-site procedures, undertaking daily checks, and driving delivery of quality.
- Manage environmental plans, including putting safety first, instilling it in the project team and suppliers, and ensuring suitable welfare is in place and maintained.
- Project planning, including marking up the project program on a weekly basis and daily reviewing the weekly work plan.
The ideal candidate will have experience in construction management, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
