Job Title: VM Lead

Job Summary:

The VM Lead is a key role in driving the visual merchandising strategy for Selfridges, ensuring that our stores are visually stunning and aligned with our brand principles. As a leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of visual merchandisers, developing creative plans, and implementing visual merchandising standards across our stores.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies that align with the brand's creative direction and commercial goals.
  • Manage a team of visual merchandisers, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of visual merchandising plans.
  • Drive visual merchandising standards to world-class level, ensuring consistency across all stores.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to inform visual merchandising decisions.
About You:
  • Proven experience in visual merchandising or a related field, with a strong understanding of retail operations and visual merchandising principles.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
