Position SummaryWe are currently seeking a Principal Wastewater Network Modeller to enhance our multidisciplinary team in Newcastle. Our organization is recognized for its expertise in wastewater network modelling, partnering with major water utilities across the UK and Ireland. Our projects span from initial concept through to final delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
As a Principal Modeller, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and excellence in our solutions, which aim to improve water quality, mitigate urban pollution, and promote sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage urban drainage projects, ensuring technical governance and adherence to best practices.
- Provide mentorship and support for staff development, fostering a culture of wellbeing within the team.
- Engage in planning, programming, and coordinating project activities to ensure successful delivery.
- Communicate effectively through report writing and presentations, both internally and externally.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, or a related field, and hold membership in a relevant professional institution such as ICE or CIWEM. You should have a proven track record in leading urban drainage projects and demonstrate comprehensive technical expertise in a variety of modelling activities.
Excellent communication skills are essential, along with the ability to provide technical leadership and maintain a strong client service focus. You will be expected to embody our core values of client commitment and service excellence.
