Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Engineer Surveyor – Lifts to join our team on a long-term, ongoing contract basis. As an Engineer Surveyor – Lifts, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality inspections of various passenger lifts, including Escalators, Elevators, moving walkways, Goods Lifts, Stairlifts, etc., to ensure compliance with current regulatory and statutory requirements (BS EN81-1).

You will work across a diverse range of industries, including Nuclear, Automotive, Public Sector, Mobile Plant, Food manufacturing, Chemical manufacturing, Banking, Retail, Logistics, Emergency Services, Transport, and Construction.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out comprehensive and detailed inspection reports
  • Liaising regularly with internal supporting departments to ensure work schedules are completed
  • Building and maintaining long-term client relationships and internal business relations

Requirements:

  • Minimum NVQ3 or HNC/HND qualification in an Engineering discipline
  • Minimum 5yrs experience installing, testing, and inspecting various Passenger Lifts, Escalators, Travelators, Goods Lifts, Stairlifts, etc.
  • Previous/current experience as an Engineer Surveyor advantageous
  • Excellent working knowledge of LOLER / PUWER / H&S regs related to Passenger Lifts and above equipment
  • Accurate and timely reporting experience
  • Confident verbal & written communication skills
  • UK driving License & use of own car
