We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading provider in the housing services sector, for a skilled Domestic Electrician. If you are a qualified and experienced electrician with a passion for delivering top-quality electrical services in domestic properties, this role could be perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, service, and repair electrical installations, circuits, and wiring systems within domestic properties.
  • Ensure all work complies with the latest IEE wiring regulations and company safety policies.

Technical Requirements:

  • Test and inspect electrical installations in domestic properties following the 17th IEE Wiring Regulations.
  • Maintain, repair, and replace electrical circuits and consumer units, including full property rewires.
  • Ensure strict compliance with the Company Health and Safety Policy, Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and other relevant legislation.
  • Work closely with line management and the Central Coordination Team to ensure the timely delivery of electrical repairs and testing in both occupied and vacant properties.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • City & Guilds (C&G) 2391 Inspection and Test (or C&G 2394 & 2395 equivalents).
  • C&G 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations.
  • C&G Installation Certificate 2360/2351 or equivalent with Part 2 or NVQ.
  • Asbestos Awareness Training.
  • C&G 2377 PAT Testing Course.
  • Full, clean UK driving license.

Desirable Skills:

  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations, method statements, and risk assessments.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
