Position Summary:
We are in search of a distinguished executive to take on the role of Chief Technology Risk Officer. This position entails strategic oversight and management of technology and cybersecurity risks while ensuring the implementation of robust data governance practices throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and define the framework for technology risk management, encompassing IT, network, and application risks.
  • Guide proactive measures to manage technology and associated risks effectively.
  • Evaluate and update technology risk management policies, limits, and methodologies to align with market standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Support privacy regulations and ensure appropriate data handling across the organization.
  • Oversee technology, tools, and processes to ensure effective data governance in collaboration with the Technology and Legal departments.
  • Stay informed on risk developments that may impact the business landscape.
  • Collaborate with technology executives (CISO, CTOs, CIO, BISOs) to ensure compliance with standards and policies related to technology risk, cybersecurity, and data governance.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in the financial services, ratings, or data/research sectors.
  • A bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Information Security, Risk Management, Business Administration).
  • Extensive knowledge of IT risk, cybersecurity, network risk, operational risk, third-party risk, and other related risks.
  • Demonstrated experience in technology risk management and data governance.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team of technology risk and data governance professionals.
  • Commitment to providing mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Ability to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
