Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at HMP Dovegate. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and secure management of medicines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding quality-based patient-centered care to our patients, focusing on personalized and informed care.
  • Ensure patient medical records are maintained to the agreed standard at all times and standard operating procedures are followed to a high and orderly standard.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to pharmacy services.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of training programs for pharmacy staff.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 or above, BTEC or equivalent qualification in pharmacy or a related field.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Up-to-date Continual Professional Development (CPD) in pharmacy practice.
  • Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience.
  • General GCSE education or equivalent.
