About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering expert audiological assessments and interventions to patients, with a focus on maintaining clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality audiological services to patients, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and hearing aid fitting.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in audiology and apply evidence-based practices to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Work collaboratively with the audiology team to provide patient-centred care and support a positive team culture.
- Contribute to the maintenance of high-quality audiological services by adhering to standards and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
About the Team
The Paediatric Audiology team at UHBW provides diagnosis, treatment planning, and hearing aid fitting for babies and children of all ages. We work closely with the Newborn Hearing Screening Programme, Paediatric ENT, Sensory Support Service, and the Hearing Implant Programme to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Requirements
- Significant post-degree experience in audiology with a specialist interest in paediatric audiology.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- Autonomous, self-directed practitioner with the ability to complete duties and responsibilities without direct supervision.
