We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients with their financial needs, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure their financial success.

About the Role:
  • Support a varied client portfolio, working closely with the Senior Management team to ensure expectations and deadlines are met
  • Supervise and prepare end-end and management accounts, including tax planning work
  • Involvement in ad-hoc work projects to further support Senior Managers and Directors
  • Oversee client workflow and internal management of resources
  • Supervise junior staff, reviewing work and supporting their professional development
  • Liaise with clients, building trusted relationships and proactively handling queries

Requirements:
  • ACCA / ACA qualified, part qualified or studying
  • Qualified by experience would also be considered
  • A proven track record of managing a client portfolio, including monitoring commercial aspects
  • Strong working knowledge of software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
  • Excellent financial modelling and data interpretation skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation
  • A team player who can also work autonomously
  • A hands-on, can-do attitude to problem-solving
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
