We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Pharmacy team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services across a diverse range of wards.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in a range of rotations, including Acute Medicine, Gastroenterology/Respiratory, Cardiology/Care of the Elderly, Stroke, and Surgery and Orthopaedics.
- Work with a multidisciplinary team, including medical and surgical teams, specialist nurses, allied health professionals, nutrition team, pain team, and hospice.
- Conduct clinical reviews of inpatients, provide clinical advice to other professionals, and facilitate discharge.
- Support the dispensary and contribute to the development of clinical pharmacy services.
We offer a supportive environment for professional development, with clearly mapped pathways to broaden your experience and help you progress. Newly Qualified Pharmacists will begin at a Band 6 level, providing a solid foundation in all essential areas of Hospital Pharmacy. We will support you to gain funding for a clinical diploma and on completion of well-defined developmental gateways, you will progress to a Band 7 pharmacist.
