Job Description

Job Title: Sales and Technical Advisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Technical Advisor to join our team at Verto People. As a Sales and Technical Advisor, you will be responsible for providing technical advice and guidance to customers, generating quotations and proposals, and providing technical support and cover to other sales engineers and customer services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical advice and guidance on correct product selection as per customer needs.
  • Generate and provide quotations and proposals of pumps and associated mechanical engineering products to customers.
  • Provide technical support and cover to other sales engineers and all aspects of customer services, including order processing, expediting, documentation, etc.
  • Learn all aspects of administration, including order processing, invoicing, and checking order confirmations.
  • Product specification, after-sales, and service support.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.

Requirements:

  • Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable company.
  • Sales, customer service, or technical background with full training being provided, however having previously sold a product or a background working in an engineering environment is beneficial.
  • Pump Service Engineer looking to come off the tools and move into a technical sales role are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience as an Internal Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Support Engineer, Engineering Administrator, Contracts Engineer, Proposals Engineer, Sales Executive, Technical Advisor, or similar customer service position, ideally within engineering.
  • Technical aptitude and/or understanding of engineering equipment - mechanical or industrial engineering products is advantageous but not essential.
  • Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or Degree in engineering would be beneficial.
  • Must be commutable to the office daily or willing to relocate.
