Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
  • Follow recipe cards to prepare and serve high-quality dishes
  • Complete daily paperwork to maintain due diligence
  • Assist with deliveries and stock checks
  • Monitor and record temperatures of kitchen equipment
  • Participate in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of menu items
  • Manage food production and levels to minimize waste
  • Train and coach new team members

Requirements

  • Previous experience in contract catering is beneficial
  • Excellent team player and communicator
  • Confident chef with a passion for culinary arts
  • BPSS and disclosure Scotland required
  • Flexibility and ability to innovate
