Night Warehouse Parcel Handler

Night Warehouse Operative Job Role:
We are seeking reliable and experienced Warehouse Operatives for an immediate start in a fast-paced night shift environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Sortation of parcels: Sorting parcels of varied sizes, shapes, and weights into correct locations.
- Working on a parcel chute: Ensuring parcels are sorted efficiently and accurately.
- Tipping (unloading lorries): Unloading parcels from lorries and preparing them for sorting.
- Heavy lifting: Lifting heavy items as part of the job requirements.
- Physical demands: The role requires physical ability to perform the tasks, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Warehouse Hours:
The night shift hours are from midnight to 9:30 am, with shifts available over 7 nights per week. The ideal candidate will be flexible to work weekends and have a maximum of 6 shifts per week. Ongoing work is available with the potential to become permanent if a vacancy becomes available and subject to a probationary period.
The Requirements:
- Physical ability: Willing and able to lift heavy items.
- Safety equipment: Safety boots are essential for the role.
- Induction: The successful candidate must be able to attend an immediate induction.
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is £13.66.
