Chemical Process Engineer Opportunity

Greater Manchester based (hybrid working)

£28,000 – £32,000 plus bonus and benefits

We are seeking several Graduate Project Engineers to join our global Engineering client, a leading company in their industry, as they undergo a period of growth. This is a great opportunity to join a company that invests in its employees and encourages continued educational development and career progression.

This is a permanent opportunity with a base salary of £28,000 - £32,000, dependent on experience and qualifications, plus bonuses and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing or overseeing the preparation of technical and commercial documents, drawings, material requisitions, quality plans, production/documentation schedules, and other related tasks.
  • Preparing and maintaining the Project Workbook cost spreadsheet for each project, monitoring costs to ensure overspends are minimized and OPR is maximized.
  • Estimating product lead times and preparing detailed production/resource plans and progress reports to ensure on-time delivery.

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level, ideally in Chemical Engineering.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Process and Instrumentation diagram drawings.
  • Knowledge and working experience of international design standards and codes is preferred.
