We are excited to announce an opening for a Financial Systems Accountant. This position does not necessitate formal accounting qualifications, although familiarity with accounting principles is advantageous.
This is a fixed-term role.
Work Arrangement: This position offers a hybrid working model, requiring at least one day per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities
As the Financial Systems Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and enhancing the financial systems utilized by our organization and our clients.
- Developing comprehensive reports and providing user support as part of our shared services.
- Leading the strategy for financial systems reporting, which involves creating and refining reports using tools such as Crystal Reports and XQuery, as well as managing Excel-based reporting systems.
- Addressing support queries by analyzing and manipulating data within the MS SQL database.
- Collaborating with software vendors to implement updates, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities for system enhancements.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking individuals who possess:
- Experience in supporting a financial system with a user base exceeding 250 individuals.
- Proficiency in financial or performance reporting.
- Familiarity with MS SQL, Crystal Reports, and XQuery.
- A collaborative mindset and a willingness to engage with team members and the broader organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
