About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Adult Psychiatry Consultant to join our team at West Brighton ATS Hove Poly Clinic. As a Consultant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychiatric services to our patients, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective care and treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct new referral assessments, develop care and treatment plans, and prescribe various treatments as needed.
  • Communicate with patients and their families, providing clear explanations of diagnoses and treatment options.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to prioritize patient needs and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Recognize and report changes in patient condition, ensuring timely interventions and adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior doctors and medical students, promoting best practices and evidence-based care.
