Position Overview: As a Calibration Lead Engineer within the Diagnostic Services team, you will play a pivotal role in the development and integration of diagnostic systems within our service and manufacturing processes. Your expertise will ensure that all diagnostic and service protocols are executed with precision, directly impacting vehicle quality and repair efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of diagnostic calibrations across various Jaguar Land Rover vehicle models.
- Conduct validation of diagnostics and service routines using Hardware in the Loop (HIL) and Powertrain in the Loop (PIL) testing methodologies.
- Oversee the testing and validation of Diagnostic Service Protocols.
- Drive the development and validation of Diagnostic Services.
- Manage diagnostic identifiers, routines, IO Service tests, and software download testing.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in controls and calibration processes.
- Strong understanding of propulsion systems, including both internal combustion engines and electric vehicle technologies.
- Experience in diagnostic development, particularly with Unified Diagnostic Services (ISO 14229).
- Familiarity with Diagnostic Trouble Codes and Bosch Diagnostic Strategy Manager (DSM) calibration.
